Pluto in Aquarius: A New World Begins
From 19th November 2024 until 8th March 2043, Pluto settles into Aquarius, anchoring the true Age of Aquarius. This celestial shift, triggered by the powerful Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 2020 and fuelled by the dynamic Saturn-Uranus squares of 2021, signals a profound period of change and evolution. As Pluto exits Capricorn on 20th November, we close the chapter on a tough financial and career period, welcoming a new, uncharted phase of societal transformation.
So, what can we expect as we dive deeper into this Aquarian era? Prepare for a wild ride. The Age of Aquarius promises rapid advancements, especially in technology, AI, renewable energy, and space exploration. The way we live, work, and connect with one another will shift dramatically in ways we can only begin to imagine. We will continue to grow in our connections around the world, with the internet and social media acting as Aquarian tools that break down barriers and unite people across the globe like never before.
With all this potential for progress, however, comes a fair share of challenges. Pluto in Aquarius will force us to confront the darker side of the digital age. We may experience fears around technology and face ethical dilemmas as new technologies arise.
Expect debates around social media, privacy, and even internet outages. With Pluto’s tendency to expose what’s hidden, long-buried information may come to light—particularly in relation to technology, science, and collective groups. Conspiracy theories that once seemed far-fetched might become reality, as this transit is like watching the internet’s wildest threads materialise in the real world.
Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, brings a disruptive energy, so we could see some social upheaval as old systems crumble and new ones take their place. Have you noticed how the world is already a bit crazy? I explain to my coaching clients that what we are seeing is the energy of fear manifesting, energy must go somewhere and with so many being triggered and still refusing to accept that the old ways of being are over, they are acting through the darker parts of existence. Bringing all the negativity to the surface. This is their purpose. We cannot ever understand what role each one of us must play in the creation of the new world vibration.
There will be tension between those who are ready to embrace change and those resistant to it.
Issues such as environmental crises, the ethics of new technologies, and the ongoing fight for equality will take centre stage in this era. As we collectively seek to improve the world, we must also confront the shadow side of how the world is and how we communicate within it. In the rush to innovate, we risk losing touch with the human element, with technology potentially taking away the love that comes from our connection to one another. A world filled with people so alone in their own existence in spite of access to the whole world and those within it through the technology, the platforms that have now been created.
It’s not all doom and gloom though! The Age of Aquarius does bring potential. On the positive side, there is a focus on humanitarianism and equality, which could lead to more inclusive and fairer societies. Revolutionary technological innovations might even solve some of the world’s greatest challenges, from climate change to poverty. With Aquarius’ collective, collaborative mindset, we could see huge breakthroughs in science, medicine, and social reform.
However, this era won’t be without its difficulties. The rapid pace of change could lead to instability, and Aquarius’ tendency toward emotional detachment might result in a decline in personal connections. Pushing us into a lonelier existence. As we become increasingly reliant on technology, we may lose touch with the physical world and with each other.
As we entered 2024, the North Node of Destiny was in Aries triggering us all to be authentic. a call for independence and authenticity. This has been a year of being brave, having the courage to take action.
The clock is ticking now. This year asked you to claim who we truly are and pursue the path you were always meant to take but this 3D world hid from you. If you’ve been holding back to maintain harmony or avoid conflict, the energies will push you to break free from these patterns now. Are you feeling this? Has this been your path of passage this year? I know it has been mine!
This year we have been forced to see things, the masks have slipped and have had to confront things that seemed beautiful on the surface but are flawed beneath. The masks people wear are sliding to reveal their truths. Any “fake” relationships that have existed solely for appearances are falling apart beyond repair.
This year marks the end of shallow connections and the beginning of more authentic, meaningful relationships. As we release what no longer serves us, we make way for new, genuine connections that align with our higher purpose.
The Age of Aquarius is here to challenge, disrupt, and inspire. This is the time to trust your instincts and pursue your own truth, even if it means going against the grain. The energy of Aries, combined with the futuristic vision of Pluto in Aquarius, invites us to act boldly and embrace the unknown with courage.
