MERCURY RETROGRADE — STAY IN YOUR LANE!

Just as we are about to step into the new energies of the new year, 2023, we find ourselves entering the year’s fourth and final Mercury retrograde on December on 22nd December.

This powerful planet of communication will remain in retrograde until 18 January 2023.

I’m advising my coaching clients to see this one in a more positive light.

After all, this one is in Capricorn and its energy is being directed at our goals. Some may experience fears around goals and start to question whether they will ever achieve them. Don’t let the negative thinking of the ego take you off path!

Don’t let insecurity leave you feeling you are on the wrong path.

This is not a good time to change direction in life.

Yes we may experience challenges around our goals, we may even feel insecure and question how we will ever get there, but be mindful that this level of thinking will only attract the delays and challenges that this mercury retrograde can bring with it.

To help you stay in lane, instead turn your thoughts within, being honest with yourself about your intentions, your motivations and why you want to achieve the vision you have for your life, your business. Is the vision still in alignment with the new version of you, or is this a vision, a goal that an old, outdated version chose?

These are the things to be asking yourself during this Mercury retrograde.

Mercury retrograde in Capricorn is a great time to decide to go back to old goals too and give them a second chance. If you dropped a goal in the past because you thought you had no chance of getting there, the energies are here to support you to create success. You might want to consider going for it again!

This is a great time to work with a Coach, a Mentor or even just talk to someone ‘older and wiser’ who has achieved what you desire to do. This is not a time to be frightened to ask for, and accept help.

The Gemini energy brings a duality so goals involving others, business collaborations could be favourable at this time, especially if it is a project you have talked about in the past.

We do though need to be aware of not only our own motives and agendas but the motives and intentions of those around us too. There could be some reveals with this one. Especially with those in the ‘public eye’.

This is a time to stay grounded, whilst open to our higher self, the nudges of our guides, angels and the universe as we walk forwards. Choose to be steered by your intuition, not your fears.

Communication is always troubled during Mercury Retrograde, whether through phone issues, email issues or being misunderstood. This one will be no exception, in fact it could be the worst one we have had lately due to Mercury and Gemini ruling communication. This could be where our biggest challenge lie!

So check the tech! Check your flight bookings, your train tickets, that the email is going to who it was intended for, that those important documents are not sat in your outbox waiting to go.

When it comes to travel leave early!

Speaking out about how we feel during this one could be difficult too and this could lead to some unexpected news. You may benefit from keeping conversations light and fun during this transit.

Let’s get back to that goal setting!

This transit does cross over the season of NYE and whilst traditionally many may feel this is the time to set resolutions and goals, I am going to argue that you are wasting your time this year. How can we set goals to move forward, when we are being pulled backwards?

If anything pick up an old goal and run with it.

The Master Number 22 is all about the blending of the spiritual world and the material world. It empowers us to use our gifts, our abilities to build something of value in this world, for this world.

The Number 12 is a creative number. It’s energy encourages us to express, to communicate our own individuality, to be authentic in this world.

I love how these energies blend together with the Mercury Retrograde energy this month. Encouraging us to go within, to go back to things that used to matter to us, things we wanted to achieve.
