Why are Trauma and Spirituality so Intertwined?
When tough things happen in early life, relationships, or big life moments, they can really affect how we connect with our spiritual side. People who’ve been through tough times often ask deep questions about life’s meaning. For many, turning to spirituality becomes a way to find comfort and make sense of their pain. It’s like using spiritual beliefs to guide them through the tough parts of their journey.
Trauma often surfaces as part of our spiritual path because it holds the potential for deep healing and growth.
Unresolved trauma can linger in our minds and hearts, creating emotional wounds. As we embark on our spiritual path, we naturally seek resolution and healing for these wounds, aiming to find peace and balance in our lives.
Trauma creates energetic blockages within our being. Addressing and healing these blockages is seen as essential for allowing the free flow of positive energy, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Our life experiences, including trauma, are integral to fulfilling our life’s purpose. By acknowledging and healing from trauma, we may gain insights that contribute to a deeper understanding of our purpose and the lessons we’re meant to learn.
Are you frightened you are broken?
Let me tell you something!
You are not!
Trauma is not who you are, it is a reaction to the things you have walked through.
Trauma manifests in people’s lives through emotional distress, recurring negative patterns, and challenges in relationships. It can show up as anxiety, depression, or avoidance behaviours, impacting daily functioning and hindering personal growth. Unresolved trauma may influence how individuals perceive themselves, others, and the world, and requires healing to move forward positively
This is why this work is so important for you! It might be hard, it might be painful but it matters because YOU matter!
Healing from Within Programme -Trauma Therapy
Trauma can linger in our bodies, like an echo of difficult experiences.
It’s crucial to understand that trauma is our body’s response to tough times—it’s not the experience itself. When something challenging happens, our bodies can store the stress and tension, affecting how we feel. Releasing trauma from the body is like letting go of this stored tension. By doing this, we create space for healing and move towards a place of inner calm.
Our journey begins with acknowledging that the pain lives in our bodies and taking steps to gently release it. Join us on a path of healing and rediscovery as we guide you through the process of releasing trauma, bringing harmony back to your body and mind.
How We Will Work Together
As a Trauma Informed Coach and Healer, I blend talk therapy, healing, breathwork and biohacking.
This 6 week programme will begin with you coming to my healing clinic where we walk engage in talk therapy, breathe work, energy release and clearing to begin the healing process. Three hours of releasing and letting go.
Then 5 follow up sessions are held online weekly, and in each session we will be working together to release what is rising, identify the step forward now and learn tools for coping with trauma responses. Self awareness is key. All of this work will develop your own self awareness about why you do the things you do and how to learn to let go of the trauma energy and mindset in a way that feels safe.
The in-person session is carried out in my premises (SN4 9NB),
The online sessions are hosted on google meet.
Before we can begin, you will need to scroll down and complete the form, giving details of what you are experiencing, so we can check if I am able to help you.As
Mental health is a Global problem! You are not alone!
- Almost a third of young people in the UK experience trauma during childhood or adolescence that doubles their risk of experiencing a range of mental health disorders, a study funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) and published in the Lancet Psychiatry has suggested.
- It’s estimated that 50-70% of people will experience a trauma at some point in their life. The majority of people exposed to traumatic events experience some short-term distress, but eventually, their trauma fades to a memory – painful, but not destructive.
- Around 20% of people who experience a trauma may go on to develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (this equates to 10% of a population). This figure can vary widely between studies, populations and communities researched. For example, the most recent study in the UK, looking at prevalence of PTSD after COVID 19 pandemic, estimated the overall pooled estimate of PTSD prevalence to be 17.52% (double and almost triple than previous estimates).
- 1 in 10 people in the UK are expected to experience PTSD at some point in their lives.

TESTIMONIAL
I enlisted the help of Samantha Jayne to present to a group of 40+ PA’s this summer.
Her level of professionalism along with her ability to “keep it real” far out ways other female presenters I have seen in the past 5 years.
Samantha Jayne is a realist, she doesn’t sugar coat and give you the “corporate line”, she talks from her own personal life experience which is why the audience was mesmerised!
The feedback from this event and indeed others that I have hosted with Samantha Jayne being the presenter has always been positive with the audience left not only feeling empowered but most definitely wanting more!!
I would highly recommend Samantha Jayne to anyone looking for a guest speaker / presenter . She is interesting, relevant and actually does have real experience unlike others in the circuit.

TESTIMONIAL
2 months ago I went to Sam drowning in my own life. My personal life was a mess. My health had taken a huge nose dive. I had pretty much given up on my business. To put it politely I was a hot mess!
In our first session together Sam and I set targets and goals that I wanted to achieved… Personally and professionally. Within 8 weeks I had reached them all. My health got better. My family life is incredible. My children are so much happier and settled. My business is rocketing and I am really fucking happy.
Sam does not take any shit and will hold you accountable to what you want, Everything she does is fuelled with love, even if it is disguised as a kick up the arse (a woman after my own heart)! I cannot thank you enough Sam for all that you have done for me and my family and I look forward to carrying on working with you .
