Why? How?

It went viral! Of course it attracted a lot of hate, when we trigger, when we speak out around a subject that people are uncomfortable with, they hit out. I spoke about dating, women earning more money than when, financial strain in dating and my why. I spoke from the heart from a place of experience and I still stand by every word I have said!

But why would I risk subjecting myself to so much hate?

Well, to be honest, I took months to make the decision whether to write this or not but the message mattered more than my ego.

I want to change women’s relationship with money and success. If we want to bring change into the world, we have to speak up, we have to be seen. To do that we cannot live in fear.

Look where it got me! Within 24 hours booked onto TV and radio.

I didn’t expect any of this or the 2.4k shares it would get. I didn’t do it to get on TV, I did it make a stand and cause a few waves. To change thinking.

I wrote this article because it has been a topic of conversation over the last three years and one I am now hearing very regularly, whether in my client work or in my personal life.

I did it so women would know they are not alone in this experience and perhaps maybe even a few would click they are!

I also didn’t expect the hundreds of messages that would come in from other women, and men by the way, who feel exactly the same, thanking me for having the balls to voice something that they have experienced for years.

I need to speak about these things more! Over 200 people hit my website in just a short space of time.

Was it worth it?

HELL YES!!

I am sat here in my kitchen, drinking a coffee in the peace of my home, feeling good about myself. I feel fulfilled. I feel at peace. I am calm. I can feel the love pouring through me into this world.
